Read without an account, join in with one

You can read everything public without signing in. You only need an account once you enter something yourself: a request, an event, your profile.

OMC ID

Main route

Our own way in. You prove once that your RSI account is yours — with a short piece of text in your public RSI bio. After that you come in with your access key. No password, no e-mail address, no third-party service.

No OMC ID yet?

first step

Then prove once that your RSI account is yours. You get a short piece of text, you put it into your public RSI bio, we read the page – done. Afterwards you can delete the text again and come in here with your access key.

Verify RSI handle

The proof runs on BalduursGATE – that is where the profile page is read and the OMC ID is issued.

Two different things

OMC ID who you are in the Verse

Clearance what you may do here

These are two different steps. Your OMC ID only says who you are – it unlocks nothing. For the crew area the crew lead then ticks a box. Reading needs neither of them.

How the OMC ID works

You put a short piece of text, generated for you, into your public RSI bio. We read the page, find the text, and know from that: this account is yours. Afterwards you can delete the text again.

You get an access key along with it. That key is how you get back in – keep it like a password. Losing it is no disaster: the crew lead issues a new one, or you prove your handle once more.

Not an official RSI login. We only read what is on your public profile page. Nobody here asks you for your RSI credentials – and nobody anywhere else should either.

What we store

an identifier from the serviceso you are recognised again
your RSI handleif confirmed
what you enter yourselfprofile, requests, events

What we don't store

no password
no RSI credentials, ever
no two-factor codes
no e-mail address

There is no password here that anyone could guess – because there isn't one.
