Day and night on microTech

A full day on microTech lasts 4 hours 7 minutes, and roughly half of that is daylight. In Stanton and Pyro every body lies in one plane with no axial tilt — so there are no seasons, and the daylight phase is the same length everywhere. Approach

The nearest quantum point on microTech is Raven's Roost. From there it is 310.3 km on the shortest route (great circle) or 322.1 km on a fixed compass heading of 307.7 degrees. At 250 m/s and 2 km altitude that works out to roughly 21 minutes of flight time. The great circle is shorter but needs constant correction; on the rhumb line you hold one heading.
