Day and night on Daymar

A full day on Daymar lasts 2 hours 29 minutes, and roughly half of that is daylight. In Stanton and Pyro every body lies in one plane with no axial tilt — so there are no seasons, and the daylight phase is the same length everywhere. Approach

The nearest quantum point on Daymar is Kudre Ore Mine (Closed). From there it is 226.3 km on the shortest route (great circle) or 226.4 km on a fixed compass heading of 224.1 degrees. At 250 m/s and 2 km altitude that works out to roughly 15 minutes of flight time. The great circle is shorter but needs constant correction; on the rhumb line you hold one heading.
